Simon Says Stamp And Back Again Instagram Hop

There is a super exciting Instagram hop going! To check it out just click on the Instragram button on the right and it will take you to my page. Today I am featuring the Love You Bunches stamp set from the new And Back Again release from Simon Says Stamp!

I made these mini-valentins because let's face it anything mini is so much cuter! I started with smooth white cardstock card base when folded measures 3 1/4 by 4 1/4.  I then cut some fun mat to highlight each card out of red heavyweight cardstock. Even though each card is unique I tried to keep the color scheme the same to they would appear as a set.

Love you Bunches card - I added the red cardstock mat and then die cut a scallopped circle. I then stamped the bouquet and colored it in using reds, pinks and gray copic markers. I fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment using versamark ink and heat emboss it with some silver embossing powder.

Hey, Cute-tea! card - I added the red mat cardstock and then stamped the tea cup and some flowers. I colored them using the same shaedes of pink, red and gray copic markers. I then fussy cut them out and again popped them up using foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment using versa mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some white gel pen detail dots.

Sending Hugs & Kisses Your Way card - Again I added the red mat and also I die cut a stitched scalloped mat using gray fog cardstock. I then just stamped out the sentiment and cut them into strips. I stamped the love letter out and colored them using more pinks and red copic markers. I added some dot detail using the white gel pen.

Here are a list of the products I used to make this project:

Today i made this card using the Lawn Fawn Quilted backdrop.
Using an A2 size cardbase I die cut a panel out of white smooth card stock using the Lawn Fawn Quilted backdrop die. I adhered to the cardbase. I then die cut the large flower out of white card stock. I die cut it three times for extra thickness and glued together. I ink blended one of the flower dies background using distress oxides and layered the rest of the flower dies ontop. I did the same with the leaves except I did not use the background pieces.
I then die cut the miss you sentiment out of gold card stock. I also die cut it three more times out of thick white card stock. I glued them together and added the the mat that came with the die out of white card stock. I then added a pre-printed sentiment strip. I paired it with a gold envelope.

Simon Says Stamp Season of Sentiments February 2022 Card Kit of the Month

Today I am playing with a super fun card kit from Simon Says Stamp. Its called Season of Sentiments and it is filled with all kinds of goodies to make some fabulous cards for those you are thinking about.

I made this card using the beautiful Orchid Rose Bouquet stamp set in the kit. On a piece of smooth white cardstock I stamped the bouquet image using embossing ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

You can really see in this photot the shine of the gold embossing powder. I also stamped the sentiment You are Amaging in gold as well. This sentiment is also found in the kit.

Here is the final photo of my card. I also wanted to let you know that the cute Miss You die is included in the set. It's one of my favorite miss you dies! So adorable. I die cut it 7 time out of colored card stock. Yes, I know I'm crazy! I did that to cut each letter out of a different color and glue down on a white card stock for a little added thickness. You could also just die cut it once and then color it with markers or some other medium to make it easier. I matted the Miss You with a heart die cut from vellum so I didn't cover up to much of that beautiful bouquet!

Here is everything in the kit!

Here is a link to the Simon Says Stamp Store if you are interested in getting this kit while you still can!

Hugs!!!

I have used the Penny Black Garden Fresh stamp set for the beautiful flowers.
I had so much fun making this spring feeling birthday card. My four legged friend is a bunny of course! I started with an A2 sized card base using white cardstock. I then ink blended with distress ink to create a blue sky and stamped the butterfly and it's dotted path. I also stamped the flowers and colored them in using copic markers. I then die cut out of green cardstock a green hill using a stitched border die. I then die cut a panel using a stitched rectangle die and die cut a circle out of the center of it to make a kind of window scene. I then stamped the bunny colored it and fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I stamped the Happy Birthday and cut them out and popped them up also with some foam adhesive. I then stamped the sentiment to pull the whole card together in some soft coral ink.

Supply list used to make this card can all be found at the Simon Says Stamp store:

I die cut the absolutly fabulous sentiment out of gray cardstock first and then red card stock again and just off set the two dies cuts a bit for a shadow affect. Then I just popped it up with some foam adhesive.

When I saw the adorable mini envelopes that came in the kit I just had to make mini cards to go inside! I used the pattern paper and card stock in the kit as well as the stamp set to decorate my mini Valentines!
