Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This week's challenge theme is Spring/Easter
We are showcasing products from Stampendous and Spellbinder's. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see what you make! As always just for entering you will be eligible for the the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
This week's challenge is to create a Spring or Easter project! I really enjoyed making this card to share this week. Even though it is snowing outside at this very moment, I know very soon I will see lots of colorful blossoms out my window.
I made this card from an A2 size card base cut from a light gray cardstock. I then die cut a panel a bit smaller from white cardstock using the Marquee A2 rectangle dies. I used the Grid stencil and some light gray distress ink to create a background with some interest.
I die cut the flowers from the Spellbinder's Potpourri Petite flower dies. I then colored them with light shades of copic markers. I made the flower pot from the Soft Serve Cone dies. I simply cut a little of the bottom off the cone and ink blended it with the same distress ink I used for the stencil. I arrange the die cut flowers in the pot and added some white flat pearls to the centers of the flowers.
Using a gray dye ink I stamped the sentiment from the Spring Windows stamp set. I then tied a bow from twine and added to the flower pot.
I hope you have enjoyed the project I have made for this fun challenge and got some inspiration. I have listed and provided affiliate links below for your convenience. Thank you so much for stopping by!!
