Simon Says Stamp Just For You Sending Love card

Just a quick post of a another card I have made from the new Simon Says Stamp Just For You release
It's been a very long winter here in the mid-west and not a lot of sunshine so I jumped at the chance to use the new Sunshine Background cling stamp. It's so awesome! You can stamp it as one solid background or it comes apart to create a very unique look!
I chose to separate the segments of this fun background stamp so each ray had a different color and pattern. I used shades of yellow and orange inks directly to each stamp segment. I used the MISTI tool to do this. It helped keep the segments in the right place while I added the different colors of ink. The patterns of each sun ray was made using stencils. I did this after I had stamped the entire image. I just masked off each ray with post it tape and laid the stencil over each ray and used a bit darker ink. I then die cut the Sending Love die from the new release from white cardstock 3 times for thickness and adhered together with liquid adhesive and placed it on the sun. The sub-sentiment comes from the Pop-Up Shape Puns stamp set. I stamped it using a coordinating ink on white cardstock and cut it to a strip. It is popped up with some 3d foam squares.
Here is a little video showing a bit of the process.
I hope you enjoyed the project I made using some of the amazing goodies from this fun new release that is just for you!!! I have affiliate links to all the supplies I used to make this card below. Thank you so much for stopping by! If you have any questions or just want to say hi, leave a comment.💕
