Easter is a very special holiday to me and my family. My children are all grown up now but I have very fond memories of the wonderful traditions we created together during Easter. I just love this fun new release from Pretty Pink Posh that includes some really cute Easter and Spring goodies. I was happy to be invited as a guest designer for the new Spring release.
I really enjoy using the Pretty Pink Posh layering stencils. I am using the Layered Chicks stencil set. It is just adorable. I have a little video below demonstrating how I used the stencil set. I made this card with an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then used the stencils to create this adorable background with the chicks and eggs with distress inks and a few blending brushes.
I then die cut the Easter Wishes Shadow die from the new release from white cardstock 2 times and once from orange cardstock and adhered them together to create thickness. I added that to the top center of the card along with the shadow cut from white cardstock. I then die cut a frame from the same orange cardstock and adhered around the card with foam strips. I then added a few clear sequins to finish this cute card up!
