This was a fun card to make. I guess I went a little wild with this leopard print stencil! I love pink what can I say?💕
I used the Simon Says Stamp Animal Print Stencils from the new Kisses release. Stencils are so different from stamps and dies. I love being able to add texture to my project with texture pastes, glitter gels or glazes.
💕💕💕
I made this card using an A2 size card base from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down another piece of white cardstock to make a panel for the background. I first ink blended pink ink over the stencil. Leaving the stencil in place I added a dark pink color with a copic marker. I then added a shimmery texture glaze over the stencil. I removed the stencil and set aside to dry.
I then die cut the Wild About You sentiment from dark pink cardstock. I cut the shadow from white cardstock. I also die cut the sentiment from a sheet of fun foam to add dimension. Yes, I did add a very small shaker element to the heart! I did this by trimming down a small piece of acetate and glueing to the heart before layering to the fun foam and adding a few sequins to the space.
I stamped the sub-sentiment from the Love You Greetings stamp set on more dark pink cardstock and heat set it using white embossing powder. I did go back and ink blended the entire panel with pink distress ink just to add even more pink.
I have made a little video to show off the shimmer of this card.
Hope you enjoyed the card I made to day and got some inspiration to make some fun valentine's cards. I have affiliate links below to all the supplies I used to make this card. Thank you so much for stopping by!
