I wanted to share a card I made exclusively from the new Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit. This kit really amazed me when I saw it! It has such a wide variety of coordinating supplies to make not just valentine cards but so much more!
My love for donuts is no secret! Funny question, is it spelled donut or doughnut? You know, either way they are delicious.🍩
I made this card using an A2 size card base made from smooth ultra white cardstock. I then cut another piece of white cardstock for a panel a bit smaller than the card base. I like to leave a bit of white border on my cards if I can. I then took that panel and ink blended the edges using a pink distress ink.
I then stamped the donut images from the Sweet Days stamp set with dies included in the kit. I stamped them a few times and colored them using copic markers. I tried to used only a few of the same colors to pull the card together. I then fussy cut the donuts out and added them around the inked panel with foam adhesive. I trimmed the excess off and adhered it to the card base. I then stamped the sentiment also from the stamp set on to white cardstock and trimmed it down to a rectangle. I inked the edges as well and matted it with more white cardstock. Using more foam adhesive I popped it up in the center of the card.
Hope you liked my donut card and it gives you some inspiration! Make sure you grab this card kit if you like it before it's gone. I have lots of affiliate links to all the supplies I used to make this card below. Thank you so much for stopping by!!!
