Brutus Monroe Lots of Layers

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Lots of Layers!

We are featuring products from Brutus Monroe. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see what you make! As always just for entering you will be eligible for the the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!
I just love lots of dimension on a card so this week's theme of Lot of Layers would be perfect for a floral die cut card. Lots of layers but not too many that you have to spend extra to mail it! Sometimes I go a little crazy with the thickness of a card and forget that it might have to go through the mail system! Ooops!
I made this card using an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then took another piece of cardstock and stamped a gingham background in a neutral color. I used the amazing Brutus Monroe's Fabulou Florals die set to cut out the daisies three times from white cardstock and colored with distress oxide ink.
I then borrowed a couple of flowers and leaves from other floral die cut sets and cut them out from white cardstock and colored with distress oxide inks. The little blue flowers were colored with copic markers because I wanted the shading to be in the center of the flowers. I then added some white gel pen detail to the flowers.
I finished this card off using the Elegantly Modern Greeting die and hot foil set for the sentiment. I stamped the sub-sentiment in blue using the same stamp set and trimmed it out with a paper trimmer.

I hope you enjoyed the project I have made for this week's challenge and got some inspiration! I have provided affiliate links to all the supplies I used below. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this challenge!
