Simon Says Stamp Kisses release Love Ya shaker card

 I have a fun shaker card I wanted to share today from the Simon Says Stamp Kisses release. Lately I can't get enough of shaker cards. I just love the smile it brings to the recipient when they open and shake it.

I have to admit that my new obsession is to make my own custom plaid paper! 

I made this card using an A2 size card base from smooth white cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel of white cardstock to leave a bit of a border. I then used stencils and stamps from my stash to create my own plaid background. Then using one of the the Nested Round Hearts die set, I cut a heart shaped window out of the plaid panel. I trimmed down a piece of acetate to create the shaker element of my card. I then added foam adhesive all over the pack of the panel. I then added the clear sequins and ahered the panel to the card. I then die cut another heart of of fog cardstock to create a frame around the heart window.

I then die cut banner from white cardstock and stamped my sentiment on it. I added it below the window with foam adhesive. To finish the card off, I die cut the new CZ Love Ya die from red cardstock and using liquid glue I added directly to the acetate. I also die cut the Spellbinders mini-bow using the same fog cardstock and added to the top of the frame.
