Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week the challenge theme is Anything Goes!

We are showcasing exclusive Simon Says Stamp products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see what you make! As always just for entering you will be eligible for the the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!

I always, always need birthday cards! So the card I made today for this week's challenge is a fun and sweet birthday card using ice cream dies from the new Dream Big release from Simon Says Stamp.

I made this card using an A2 size card base made from smooth white cardstock. I then cut a panel a bit smaller using the same white cardstock and ran it through my die cut machine using the Dibble Dot embossing folder for a textured background. I then pulled out several pieces of leftover colored cardstock to die cut my ice cream cones from. It's a great way to use up those scraps!!

I then adhered all the pieces together and using some foam squares. I randomly placed the ice cream cones all over the back of the panel that I had embossed. I then trimmed the pieces hanging over and added it to the card base. I then die cut the happy birthday sentiment and shadow. I used more white paper and silver glitter paper for some sparkle.
