Who wouldn't want a birthday shaker card! I had so much fun just spending some quality time in my craft room. I love to go through my stash of dies and stamps and just play! Visit the Simon Says Stamp store for all your card making needs.
I made this card by trimming down a piece of white cardstock to an A2 size card base. Then using post it tape I masked off stripes to create my own plaid background. I then die cut a stitched rectangle panel and then die cut a stitched circle in the center of that panel. Using liquid glue I adhered a piece of acetate on the back of the panel covering the circle. I stamped the sentiment using oxide ink and then added foam adhesive to the back of the panel to pop it up for the shaker element.
I added the clear sequins for the inside of the shaker. I then die cut the candles from white cardstock and ink blended them to coordinate with the colors I used for the plaid background. I glued the candles to the bottom center of the circle and added some stickles to the flames for a bit of sparkle.
I made a quick video to show the sparkle and shake of this card.
Well I hope you enjoyed the card I have made today and got some inspiration! I have listed and provided affiliate links below to all the supplies I used to make these cards. Thank you for stopping by!!
