Yippee! It's release day! I am so happy to share some projects I made with the new Simon Says Stamp Just For You release.
I have a few projects to share and hopefully it will give you an idea of how much I loved this new release. I feel like I have been waiting for Spring forever! I have made some Easter/Spring themed cards using some of the amazing products from this release.
I have to disclose the fact that I made this card before I saw the amazing Kristina Werner's YouTube video featuring this stencil set and that our colors are almost identical. That was a happy coincidence. I love that we had the same idea though! I know she designed this stamp and stencil set and it is one of my favs from this release.
*Card base is made an A2 card base from smooth white cardstock
*On white cardstock I used the Folk Art stencil and distress ink to create the image.
*Using the coordinating die and one of the nested rounded heart dies, I cut out the image and matted it on dark blue cardstock.
*Using fog cardstock I die cut a stitched rectangle to create a panel to leave a white border.
*I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hello stamp set in dark blue ink on more white cardstock.
*Using nesting circle dies I cut out the sentiment from white cardstock and the mat from the dark blue cardstock and added a few clear sequins for sparkle.
The next two cards are made from the same Happy Easter die and the Easter Critters stamp set.
*Both cards are A2 size card bases made from smooth white cardstock.
*I made my own plaid backgrounds for both cards using masking tape and distress ink.
*I trimmed them down to be a bit smaller than the card bases.
*I also used a nested oval die to create the focal point for the Happy Easter sentiment.
*I die cut the Happy Easter die from pink and silver cardstock.
*I then stamped the bunny images from the stamp set onto watercolor paper and colored them with Derwent watercolor pencils.
This last project is made using the Bunny Egg stencil and coordinating die.
*The card base is A2 size made from smooth white cardstock.*Using a gingham background stamp I created a panel stamped in light blue cardstock.
*I trimmed the panel down and matted it with yellow cardstock for a very spring feel.
*Using the stencil and distress ink I colored in the sun and bunny and die cut the image out.
*I die cut the outline of the stenciled image 3 times from thick cardstock for more dimension.
*I then stamped the sentiment from the Pop-up Shape Puns stamp set in light blue ink.
*I then used a banner stamp/die set to frame sentiment and drape it over the stenciled image.
*I added clear glitter to the sun portions of the stenciled image for a bit of sparkle.
