Memory Box Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week of the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

This week's challenge theme is Anything Goes!

We are showcasing products from Memory Box. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see what you make! As always just for entering you will be eligible for the the drawing of a $25 voucher to the Simon store!

Am I getting you tired of the winter yet?? I'm making some waves with this week's challenge. It's Anything Goes so I'm headed to the beach with a Miss You card because I'm missing the beach! I grew up in Southern California and now I'm surrounded by beautiful majestic mountains but every once and a while I sure do miss the ocean!

I've made a fun card featuring the Memory Box Curling Waves Emboss and die cut folder. This 3d folder was a lot of fun to play with. 

I made this card with an A2 size card base from a light gray cardstock. I then trimmed down a panel from white cardstock. I ink blended the bottom left corner of the panel with a few distress inks. I spritz it with some water and a few paint splatters and set aside to dry.

Using the emboss and cut set I created some waves. I recommend that you die cut the waves first! Then slip the die cut into the embossing folder and run through the machine for optimal indentation. I then ink blended each individual wave with the same distress inks. I adhered them to the panel with a few 3d foam squares. I trimmed off any waves hanging over the panel and added it to the gray card base. I die cut the sentiment Miss You from a lowercase alpha die set. The "m" is from a different alpha die set. I then stamped the "you" from the Simon Says Stamp To My Favorite stamp set. I die cut the letters from white cardstock and ink blended using distress inks. I added some clear sequins for a bit of sparkle.
